Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our international legal team. The role will be based in the Netherlands and will support the company’s legal and compliance operations across the Pan-European region. The ideal candidate has solid legal training, practical experience in corporate and commercial law, and a proactive attitude in navigating complex cross-border business environments.

Your mission
  1. Contract Review and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including procurement contracts, sales agreements, rental and leasing contracts (e.g., office, vehicles).
  2. Corporate Legal Support: Provide legal advice to the day-to-day operations of local subsidiaries, including addressing cross-departmental legal inquires, supporting business initiatives from legal perspective, and conducting legal trainings on local laws or regulations.
  3. Legal Research & Advice: Interpret and analyze local laws and regulations, and prepare legal memos or advice tailored to business needs, etc.
  4. Compliance Implementation: Support the implementation of compliance programs related to antitrust, data protection (e.g., GDPR), AI regulation, and other emerging legal areas.
  5. Dispute Resolution: Manage and advise on legal disputes, including employment disputes, commercial contract disputes, and product liability issues, etc.
  6. Regulatory Communication: Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies regarding compliance standards, legal interpretations, and formal correspondences.
  7. Perform other related work as assigned.
Your profile
  1. Bachelor degree or higher education background, major in law;
  2. Strong knowledge and practical application ability in the European Union civil and commercial, labor, product quality, environmental protection, company laws, etc.;
  3. High integrity and desire to collaborate with others;
  4. Good ability in logic thinking, communication or coordination; 
  5. Have a good knowledge of analyzing legal risks and good at communicating verbally or literally;
  6. 2–3 years of legal experience in an in-house company or law firm
  7. Fluency in English and can use English as working language;
  8. Chinese educational background or language is a plus.
